Europass is a collection of documents that helps citizens communicate in a clear and simple way the skills and qualifications they have acquired throughout their lives, both between countries and between sectors.

The principle objective of Europass is to facilitate the mobility of students and workers throughout the member states of the EU, the countries of the Free Trade Economic Area / European Economic Space and the candidate countries, provided that are looking for work or seeking admission into an educational or training programme.

Europass encompasses a collection of five documents, of which the Curriculum Vitae is the principal element, able to be complemented by the other Europass documents, depending on the background of each individual.
